CAMTA’s Executive Committee plans annual missions and oversees CAMTA’s operations. They are:
Dr. Marc Moreau, President
Marc is a founding member of CAMTA. He is a Pediatric Orthopedic surgeon at the Stollery Children’s Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta and the Assistant Dean of Admissioins of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Alberta.
Dr. Ryan Wright, Vice-President
Barbara Moreau, RN (Ret), Treasurer
Barb is also a founding member of CAMTA. She trained as an RN but now does the day-to-day administration and organization to ensure CAMTA is successful.
Francisco Gallardo, Secretary
Francisco is a trained MD from El Salvador, currently working as a health care aide in Canada at the Misericordia Hospital. He is proud to have volunteered with CAMTA as a translator since 2013. Francisco also handles much of CAMTA’s logistics while in Quito.
Rayanne Hillier, BScN (O.R. Representative)
Rayanne has been working with CAMTA since 2015
Deb Chalupa, RN (Ward Representative)
Deb has been a member of CAMTA since 2006. She is the unit manager for Orthopedics at the Misericordia Hospital in Edmonton.
Bev Runka, RN (PostAnesthetic Care Unit Representative)
Bev Runka is the team leader of the Stollery PostAnesthetic Care Unit. She has been with CAMTA since 2009.
